This herbal salve is handcrafted by the maker, produced in the rolling hills of Wisconsin. Each batch is carefully made by hand, with many of the herbs sourced from their own organic garden. We use locally and ethically sourced wildcrafted herbs and essential oils, as well as local beeswax, with lots of love in every jar!
This herbal salve is made with Comfrey, which contains rosmarinic acid, a potent anti-inflammatory and pain reliever, as well as allantoin, which stimulates new cell growth and tissue regeneration. Traditionally used for fractures, bruises, sprains, and inflammation.
WARNING:
- DO NOT USE ON BROKEN SKIN.
- DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY. The natural aging process can contribute to joint inflammation as tissue wears down over time. However, orthopedic diseases can occur due to a variety of factors including overuse or injury, genetics, and certain medical conditions such as diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis. Poor posture, poor nutrition, and certain types of work or sports can also increase the risk of developing an orthopedic condition. “I highly recommend Organic Herbal Comfrey Salve to those suffering from joint related conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and other joint injuries. The salve has the ability to eliminate inflammation, nourish joints and improve joint mobility. It helps rebuild and restore cartilage and bone tissue, reducing pain and stiffness – which can restore normal joints, reduce pain, inflammation and improve joint function.” – Dr. John Brown, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
- Formulated with Powerful Ingredients To Relieve Joint Pain & Inflamma
- According to statistics, 35% of the population in the US and Europe suffer from joint problems, with varying degrees of joint problems. Severe cases can result in joint deformities, fever, and intense joint pain, which can lead to long-term pain and disability. In extreme cases, orthopedic diseases can even lead to life-threatening complications.Experts Approved
- Understanding joint pain and arthritis:
Comfrey:
- Contains rosmarinic acid and allantoin, both known for their potent anti-inflammatory properties. Rosmarinic acid helps relieve pain and inflammation, while allantoin promotes new cell growth and tissue regeneration. This makes comfrey highly effective for treating bruises, sprains, and inflammation.
Plantain:
- Often used in herbal remedies for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects. Plantain can promote wound healing and is also beneficial in soothing and repairing damaged skin.
Yarrow:
- Contains compounds that are known to stop bleeding, promote wound healing, and have anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. Yarrow is particularly effective in treating external wounds and reducing inflammation.
Beeswax:
- Acts as an emulsifier to help maintain the texture of the salve, but also brings anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties to the product. This helps soothe irritated skin and prevent infection in areas of injury.
Sunflower Oil:
- Rich in vitamin E and antioxidants, sunflower oil nourishes and moisturizes the skin, which aids in maintaining skin health during the healing process. Its anti-inflammatory properties also help reduce swelling and pain.
Lady’s Mantle:
- Known for its astringent properties, lady’s mantle helps in wound healing and reducing inflammation, making it beneficial for treating external wounds and bruises.
